From Tech CEO to Restart Expert
I was the tech CEO who looked like she had the perfect story: a woman of color who built a multi-million dollar tech company from the ground up — revenue climbing, team expanding, press wins, enterprise contracts.
But behind the scenes, I was losing co-founders, struggling to manage rapid scale, and carrying the weight of multiple stakeholders. I had built growth, but not the foundation to sustain it. Eventually, I hit the kind of ending that strips away everything you thought defined you.
That restart taught me something crucial: sustainable success requires alignment, not just achievement.
During my rebuilding year, I explored the intersection of neuroscience, energy laws, and systems thinking — science that echoes what spiritual leaders have always known about transformation. At the same time, while reviewing 100+ venture applications annually for organizations like Camelback Ventures,I saw a pattern: business leaders had plenty of tactical support, but almost no guidance for the infrastructure, narrative, and emotional intelligence transitions that determine whether they succeed — and scale sustainably.
I realized my ending wasn’t failure — it was my brain rewiring through neuroplasticity, entropy making space for new order, and systems realigning for sustainable growth. And I wasn’t alone: this gap exists for leaders everywhere.
